This home was reimagined for a client entering a new phase of life, downsizing into a space that feels grounded, personal, and easy to live in. The goal was to maintain a sense of history while creating a lighter, more open feel throughout.
Rooted in an American Classic aesthetic, the design layers traditional forms, warm wood tones, and timeless materials through a more relaxed, updated lens. In the kitchen, we refined the layout to improve flow, introducing custom millwork, paneled glass-front cabinetry, and a furniture-style island that anchors the space.
Throughout the home, antique-inspired pieces, soft textiles, and collected details bring warmth and continuity. The result is a space that feels calm, cohesive, and quietly renewed.
