We’re serious about Feng Shui and great design — but we’re lighthearted, open-minded, and just a little bit woo-woo, too. As sisters, we make a great team, and we love welcoming clients into our family for one-of-a-kind collaborations that tend to space, spirit, and soul.
We’ll analyze your unique makeup using ancient principles from elemental astrology. Then, step by step, we’ll bring aesthetic and energetic balance into your home and into your life. And, we’ll have a lot of fun while doing it.
We’re sisters who finish each other’s sentences — and floor plans. At just twelve years old, Virginia pitched in on her parents’ home renovations and has always been dreaming up new projects. (Confession: She’s still dreaming.) Natalie was right there beside her, making lists, organizing, and planning. Still, it wasn’t until we layered the principles of Feng Shui over our love for design that we were able to marry the aesthetic and the energetic — thus creating true alchemy.
After working in the corporate world for more than 10 years, I joined forces with Virginia to create Ellis Kelly Interiors in 2020. I’m the left-brained side of the business; tracking, organizing, budgeting, and staying organized. (After all, my principal element is wood, and my energetic element is metal.) When I’m not coordinating projects, I’m fantasizing about my next international getaway and the historical sites and new restaurants I’ll explore while I’m there. Fun fact: I’m also a Harry Potter-obsessed foodie.
I have a BA in Interior Design from Mount Royal University and while there, got my first taste of creating intentional spaces for clients at a design and build firm. I’m a big dreamer, and I always imagined starting a firm of my own. A firm that would allow me to combine my love of whimsical European design with the principles of Feng Shui. Clearly, my career corner was thriving, because here I am. I pinch myself every day knowing that I get to bring harmony, beauty, and flow into every space I design.
We believe that every home has a story to tell. As house therapists, our job is to listen, tweak, and enhance what already exists. We design according to energy, flow, and the ancient principles of Feng Shui. This may sound heady, but it’s actually quite simple: Through our interior design, we’ll make you feel at home. Before we go on, pull up a chair, and let’s get to know each other.
After studying the principles of Feng Shui, we both live in homes that allow our energy to flow and our spirits to soar. It’s our mission to design spaces where others can feel the same sense of peace and belonging. We won’t rest until our clients feel spiritually aligned and at home.
